Get Involved

Every registered Democrat in the town of Salem is already a voting member of the Salem Democratic Town Committee! Join us at our monthly meetings, events and other activities and get the most out of your membership. We welcome new participants in our meetings and activities. The Committee meets on the third Tuesday evening of each month, at 7 pm at the Democratic Coordinated Campaign Headquarters, 10 Lawrence Road (near the intersection of Main St./Lawrence Road).  See Calendar for all meeting dates and other area Democratic party and candidate events.

Here are just a few of the things we're working on this summer:

Special Events - Help organize our second annual Fall Gala fundraiser to be held Friday, Sept. 19. We're involving all the campaigns, inviting VIP guest speakers, local candidates and awarding our annual JFK Merit Award to an outstanding local Democrat.  There's room to get involved at many levels!

Primary and Election Day Get Out the Vote Efforts in support of all Democratic Candidates. Can you take a shift at a Salem polling location holding signs and talking up our Democratic candidates? Can you help deliver signs for Democratic campaigns? Can you do phone banking, door knocking, letters to the editor, letters to neighbors in support of our candidates? We need your help and ideas!

Salem Democratic Town Committee Communications, Fundraising, and Membership subcommittees seek volunteers - Bring us your fresh ideas and energy!
