Welcome to the Salem Democratic Town Committee

We are the Democratic Town Committee of Salem, New Hampshire. Our mission is to promote Democratic ideals among the voters of our town. The Salem Democratic Town Committee is comprised of working men and women trying to make the Town of Salem, the State of New Hampshire, and America a better place for all of us.

Please browse our site to learn more about our committee, democratic issues, and how to become involved. Remember, every registered Democrat in the Town of Salem is already a committee member! This site is continually updated with news and information about our group, local events we will participate in, and links to information local Democrats are looking for, such as links to all presidential and US Senate campaign websites ("Links" on the left bar). We have also posted a selection of voting records of members of our delegation in Concord - find out whether your state rep or senator is representing your interests ("Issues" on the left bar). We will continue to update these sections and others. Please send us your feedback and suggestions!

Local Democrats Raise Over $3,000 to  Fight Cancer!
American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Salem

The Salem-Windham Democrats team raised and donated more than $3,000 to the American Cancer Society at the recent Relay For Life of Salem. Our team was joined and supported by US Senate candidates Katrina Swett and Jay Buckey, former NH Congressman and Ambassador Dick Swett, and Salem Selectwoman Beth Roth. We were also joined by staff from the Hillary Clinton, John Edwards and Barack Obama campaigns and field staff from the NHDP. If you missed it, you can get a flavor for the fun we had and make plans to join us next year!) by watching the video taken by Shebby Swett, son of Katrina & Dick: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZN1JQ6A-nI

We wish to thank all of our participants, sponsors and donors for their support. Special thanks goes to the law firm of DeBruyckere, Roth & Associates, which donated an estate planning package valued at $2,000 for a drawing held on-site.
