Salem NH Lions Race Against Childhood Cancer
100% of all registrations will go to fund childhood cancer research. This year’s run proceeds will be donated to fund research for Ewing Sarcoma. This is a rare and aggressive childhood bone cancer affecting ~200 children each year in the US, including 11 yr old Weston. The newest treatment was developed in 1987; recurrence rates are 50-80% with less than 30% long term survival; less than 4% of NCI research funds are directed towards pediatric cancers. Learn more at

We also provide alternative housing options for those experiencing housing insecurity, along with supportive services, financial assistance, and life skills training to help individuals and families build self-sufficient, stable lives.
